October 2010 Matchmaker Event
The next Matchmaker Event is scheduled for Tuesday, October 5th through Wednesday, October 6, 2010, at the Wyndham Portland Airport Hotel, 363 Maine Mall Road, South Portland, ME 04106. This event is being hosted by the Department of Defense, Northeast Regional Council for Small Business Education and Advocacy and being co-hosted by the
Tuesday, October 5th, there will be an afternoon training session held for Small Businesses in preparation for the Matchmaker.
Wednesday, October 6th, there will be an all day matchmaker event during which small businesses will meet for ten minute appointments with Prime contractors, Federal agencies, State organizations and the PTACs. Over the next few months, the PTACs will be focusing on training small businesses on how to make these meetings concise and worthwhile.
