Len-Tex Corp. Named June

“Innovation Rocks!” Award Winner

WALPOLE – The creation of an environmentally friendly wallcovering  has led to Len-Tex Corporation being named the “Innovation Rocks!” Award winner by the New Hampshire Division of Economic Development’s Business Resource Center for the month of June.

The Walpole-based company’s Surface iQ wallcoverings recently earned “cradle to cradle” certification, a designation that allows Len-Tex to measure achievement in  environmentally-intelligent design and helps customers purchase and specify products that are pursuing a broader definition of quality based on impact to the environment. Surface iQ is non PVC commercial wallcovering that is completely free of ozone depleting chemicals and also offers a product take-back option for disposal.

“Len-Tex’s dedication to preserving the environment and providing socially conscious products is admirable,” said New Hampshire Business Resource Center Director Roy Duddy. “Not only is this company innovative, it also promotes environmental awareness in its designs and manufacturing. Len-Tex is a pioneer in its industry.”
 
“Innovation Rocks!” is an initiative sponsored by the New Hampshire Division of Economic Development’s Business Resource Center in coordination with Rock 101 (WGIR-FM) and the The Pavilion at the Hilton Garden Inn Manchester Downtown to celebrate the creativity and ingenuity of New Hampshire innovators.
